About Seneca College

About Program
In this three-year advanced diploma program, you will be training for an exciting career as a chemical technologist with specializations in chemical analysis, applied chemical engineering and environmental chemistry. This program will provide you with hands-on experience and a solid background in basic biology, chemistry and mathematics. You will further focus on analytical and instrumental chemistry, organic, industrial and polymer chemistry, metallurgy, ceramics, composites and environmental analysis, health and chemistry. Your academic progress will be monitored during the first two semesters. As the number of seats in the third semester is limited, if you do not maintain a semester GPA of at least 2.5 during the first year and subsequent semester, you will be transferred to an alternate program within the School of Biological Sciences and Applied Chemistry.
