Accounting and Business BA (HONS)
This course gives you the opportunity to specialize in two disciplines, providing you with a greater career choice and a range of highly transferable skills. Our BA (Hons) Accounting and Business course offers students an opportunity to gain a solid grounding in accounting, and an understanding of the other aspects of the business environment. Students learn the skills necessary to interpret financial information and make management decisions in a wide range of business situations.
Accounting and Finance BA (HONS)
This is one of the best paths into the accounting profession and combines a rigorous academic program with technical training. Accounting and Finance at UCLan has accreditation from a number of prestigious professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). You’ll develop your intellectual capacity, analytical skills and have a strong knowledge and understanding of accounting, enabling you to work in audit, tax and accountancy businesses as well as in financial functions within other organizations.
Accounting and Financial Studies BA (HONS)
BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Studies will provide you with a valuable insight into the nature of the accounting process and its varied applications in business life. It includes subjects which are fundamental to an understanding of the financial position of an enterprise and equally importantly examines other disciplines which recognize that business success cannot simply be measured in financial terms.
