Linguistics and Language with Foundation Year (4 Years)

As the science of language, linguistics studies everything to do with language, including how language is structured, how it develops in children, the ways in which it reflects society and culture, how it defines individuals and groups, and how it changes over time.

 

Intercultural Communication with Foundation Year (4 Years)

Our BA Intercultural Communication with Foundation Year allows you to study intercultural communication while also familiarizing yourself with communication in different cultural contexts: French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish. You can choose to study the language itself or focus on the cultural context in which the language is spoken, choosing from a range of modules covering literature, film, history, visual culture and philosophy, among other cultural fields.

 

Linguistics and Culture with Foundation Year (4 Years)

Our BA Linguistics and Culture with Foundation Year lets you study linguistics together with a language – you can choose from French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish – along with the associated culture of that language.

 

Intercultural Communication and/with Language with Foundation Year  (4 Years)

Our BA Intercultural Communication and/with Language with Foundation Year allows you to study intercultural communication while at the same time improving your fluency in a foreign language. You can choose between French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish and, for most of our languages, you can start the program at the level of language learning that suits you. Not only will you attain a good level of competence in the language, you will also have a chance to learn about the culture of the language-speaking area, choosing from a range of modules covering literature, film, history, visual culture and philosophy, among other cultural fields.
