Biology (M.S.)
The small, caring faculty gives personal attention to shape a degree suited for different needs, opening career possibilities in industry, business, law, policy, administration, or research.
Biology for the Health Professions (M.S.)
The Master of Science in Biology for the Health Professions is a post-baccalaureate, pre-medical program designed to strengthen you as an applicant for professional health schools, including medicine, dentistry, optometry, and pharmacy.
Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics (M.S.)
The program focuses on biophysical approaches to determine the structure of macromolecules and macromolecular assemblies. Enrollment allows access to the X-ray facilities at the nearby Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Laboratory, one of the world’s most intense X-ray sources.
Preparatory Program for Medical Studies (Certificate)
The purpose of the Preparatory Program for Medical Studies is to meet the needs of college graduates who have decided to pursue a medical education but who lack some or all of the basic science courses required for admission to medical school.
