The MSc Environment and Sustainability provides an advanced-level grounding in sustainable responses to a broad range of environmental issues. As the program is offered through evening, face-to-face study, it provides a distinctive opportunity for practitioners to combine study with a continuing career.

Thanks to increases in computing power and availability of GPS, we can record and store an unprecedented amount of information about the world. Geographic information plays an increasingly crucial role in our society, transforming sectors as diverse as transportation, insurance, banking, telecommunications, logistics, energy, retail, agriculture, healthcare, urban planning and scientific research.

Children, Youth and International Development (MSC)
Our MSc Children, Youth and International Development is one of the very few in the UK that focuses on childhood and youth studies within their international context. You will explore how childhood and the experience of being a child are defined and experienced in different times, places and cultures. You will develop a sociological understanding of how childhood is constructed differently across cultures and we will also look at how childhood is influenced and shaped by wider changes within societies.

Today, rapid and widespread urbanization is creating new challenges.
