The Department of Humanities offers the following Bachelor Programs:

Instructional Design (Certificate)

Experienced technical communicators interested in advancing their instructional design skills will learn teaching methodology as well as the ability to create engaging educational materials through training in document and web design, user experience evaluation, and more.

Technical Communication (Certificate)

Technical communication skills are an asset in diverse fields ranging from manufacturing to publishing to the government. This certificate program equips students with the core competencies needed in an entry-level technical communication position.

Technical Communication and Information Architecture (M.S.)

Learn to structure and deliver information for the best user experience across desktop and mobile technologies. Students take courses on enhanced technical communication and develop specialized concepts, skills, and tools for designing, implementing, and managing web applications and digital media.

Technology and Humanities (M.S.)

This program offers a humanities-focused foundation in communication practices, as well as information and communication technologies. You’ll study the leading theories in user experience research, web design, and visual design fundamentals for documents and digital media.
