Clinical Research MSc
Our MSc Clinical Research course is the only MClinRes available in the UK North West Coast and the only campus-based program in the North West of England. Designed to equip health and social care practitioners with the skills to design and lead high quality clinical research, you’ll be taught by a team of internationally renowned researchers with over 15 years’ experience of successful delivery of Masters in Research program.
Compassionate Leadership MSc
This program offers a unique multidisciplinary approach, drawing on the expertise of UCLan staff from the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise, and the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The program is built on the foundations of coaching and mentoring and is designed to look at oneself as a leader to then to progress onto taking others on the journey with you. It is anticipated that the learning environment will be made up of a diverse group of students from a wide variety of disciplines. An inspiring learning environment will be supported by a range of creative and interactive teaching sessions.
Nutrition and Exercise Sciences MSc
The MSc in Nutrition & Exercise Sciences at UCLan is one of only seven courses worldwide accredited by the Sport, Exercise & Nutrition Register (SENr). Therefore the course allows graduates direct entry onto the SENr graduate register as recognized graduate level sport & exercise nutritionists whilst also studying in laboratories accredited by the British Association of Sport & Exercise Sciences (BASES).
Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration) MSc 2 years
Successful completion of this course will ensure you are eligible to apply for initial registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and for full membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapists and World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-Registration) MSc
This course prepares learners for the breadth of speech and language therapy (SLT) practice in the continually evolving Health and Social Care sector. You will be part of a small cohort where staff will get to know each learner. Workplace experiences start in the first semester supporting learning that makes links between theory and practice from day one. The course is full-time running from September in Year 1 to August in Year 2.

The Professional Masters in Elite Performance (MProf) is an exciting and original initiative, capable of providing a high level, vocationally focused award to a broad range of professionals, including, but not limited to, coaches (in sport and business), scientists in support roles, medical/paramedical practitioners, military and other structured service providers, and all those involved in the performing arts.
