About University West

University West is a modern university offering programs in close collaboration with working life in an attractive and modern study environment. The university has about 15,000 students and 625 employees. The university campus is centrally located in the town of Trollhättan close to cinemas, restaurants and sport facilities, but also to beautiful landscapes. The campus is constructed with the students’ needs in focus. The international atmosphere is informal and dynamic. University West is founded on the principle that knowledge is acquired everywhere, not just in universities. Integrating work situation into study programs so called Work Integrated Learning exemplifies the important relationship between the university and the outside world. About Program

The International Program in Politics and Economics (IPPE) is the only international multidisciplinary program in Sweden that offers a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics. As an IPPE student, you’ll have important experiences both outside and inside the classroom. Your program gives you easy access to academic faculty and encourages your growth academically, professionally, socially, emotionally and ethically. In addition to providing relevant knowledge and skills, IPPE prepares you to support cultural diversity as well as consider issues of gender, equality and sustainability in the work that you do.
