About Jönköping University
Jönköping University is a young professional-oriented university characterized by a high degree of internationalization, an entrepreneurial spirit and extensive collaboration with surrounding society. About Program
The New Media Design program suits those who wish to combine graphic design, programming and web design with knowledge in both marketing communication and project management. On this program, you will get the skills to design and encode interactive web applications for different devices and platforms with a clear focus on the user experience. You will also get theoretical and practical knowledge for designing graphic material for both printed and digital media. You’ll learn to develop user-friendly and communicative experiences and services to create value for enterprises, society and individual users. You will also gain a good foundation in marketing, entrepreneurship, leadership and communication with a focus on internationalization and a global working environment. With a degree in New Media Design from Jönköping University you develop a good base for various roles such as graphic designer, front-end web developer, interaction designer and web strategist. Future workplaces could range from technologically advanced production companies to more traditional advertising agencies.
