Make a difference in a child’s life. Both our early childhood and childhood programs culminate in dual degrees in regular and special education, and focus on preparing you to teach in an urban environment.

Early Childhood Dual Specialization

The early childhood program culminates in a dual degree in regular and special education for children from birth to grade 2, particularly those in an urban environment. The program offers a 12-month, full-time and part-time course of study, combining on campus and online courses. You’ll graduate prepared for New York State teacher certification, including passing the edTPA.

Childhood Dual Specialization

The childhood program culminates in a dual degree in regular and special education for students in grades 1-6, particularly those in an urban environment. The program offers a 12-month, full-time and part-time course of study, combining on campus and online courses. You’ll graduate prepared for New York State teacher certification, including passing the edTPA.
