About Seneca College
Seneca offers more than an education. With campuses throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Seneca’s size and diversity give students the advantage of partnerships with industry leaders, the latest in hands-on computer technology, a variety of class sizes, and full-time, part-time and continuing education options. Education should be flexible and accessible, so Seneca also employs various methods of teaching – from in-class lectures and online learning to co-op and field placements – in programs related to applied arts, business, financial services and technology.
This two-year diploma program is designed to provide a solid foundation of the skills and knowledge required to work in the corporate travel business, leisure, or cruise travel sectors. In this program, you will understand the tourism industry as a business with an emphasis on developing a service-driven attitude and honing business skills in marketing, sales and customer relations.
You will also acquire knowledge in negotiation, risk management, learn industry specific global distribution systems, and discover local and international tourism destinations and geography.
In semester two of the program, you can continue your studies in the Tourism Services concentration or switch to the Tourism –Services Management – Global Tourism Business concentration. Switching is seamless with a common first semester in both programs.
